I stayed at the Best Western Dry Creek Inn for 2 nights, and overall it is a very nice facility and well-maintained. However, the air conditioning units in the rooms have problems. They are operated via remote control and tend to get stuck in a "timer" mode that you cannot get out of. Calling the front desk, I was told that nothing could be done until the next day. The room was incredibly hot and stuffy, and I didn't want to leave the sliding door open to the outside (the screen did not have a lock), due to security concerns. I was told maintenance would come first thing in the morning (they arrive at 7), but they did not. After waiting until most 10, I called again, and the maintenance man did come reset it. They said this happens often. I was not offered a fan to plug in, or anything that would have helped. My party was staying for 2 nights in an upscale room and did not expect to pay that amount of money and have no air circulation in September! I would have appreciated a discount if a fan could not be provided.
