Join local wineries in Alexander Valley for an unforgettable day of great food and great wine during Taste Destination 128 Open House Wine & BBQ. On Saturday, August 13th, five wineries open their doors and fire up the grills for a perfect summer day exploring Sonoma wine country near our hotel. Tour your way through each winery at your own pace and savor a different BBQ specialty at each stop. Taste of 128 is a consortium of five family-run wineries in scenic Alexander Valley, all located within 15 minutes of our Healdsburg wine country retreat. Each vineyard will be grilling up a different dish. Sample juicy Pork Sliders at Field Stone Winery & Vineyards, slurp BBQ Oysters at Hanna Vineyards & Winery, grab a slice of BBQ Chicken Pizza from the wood-fired oven at Medlock Ames Winery, bite into Tri-Tip Sliders at Alexander Valley Vineyards, and enjoy classic Southern cuisine like BBQ Beef Brisket & Grits at White Oak Vineyards & Winery. All five wineries are open for tours and tastings throughout the year and are known for their lovely bottles of Cabernet. Tickets are $40 for general admission and designated driver tickets are $15.
