St Patrick's Day Parade in Healdsburg

Don't miss one of the largest St. Patrick's Day events north of the Golden Gate Bridge. Every St. Patrick's Day, charming Healdsburg celebrates this Irish tradition with an early morning festive parade filled with all ages fun. The community gets dressed up in their greenest outfits complete with emerald shoes, wigs and shamrock-shaped jewelry to show off their spirit. Decked out patrons ride in the back of green cars as people cheer them on. Expect plenty of Irish flags and "Kiss Me, I'm Irish" t-shirts.

Led by bagpipers and a soaring rendition of "Johnny Boy", the parade goers stroll the route to traditional Irish music. Everyone is encouraged to join the parade, and the festivities continue throughout the day with corned beef and cabbage at local restaurants paired with pints of Guinness and the local wines of Sonoma County.

Our Sonoma County boutique hotel is just a quick ride from Downtown Healdsburg. Before the parade, fill up on our free breakfast buffet. With two pools, an outdoor fireplace and a steam sauna, our accommodations are the perfect place to relax after the parade as well. Grab a bite to eat at our on-site restaurant or spend the afternoon visiting local wineries. Just don't forget to wear green!
