39th Annual Barrel Tasting in Northern Sonoma County

Attention wine lovers! If you consider yourself a wine aficionado, then don't miss the 39th Annual Barrel Tasting in Sonoma County taking place on March 4-6 and March 11-13. This annual celebration of Sonoma County vineyards is all about the wine. Dozens of the best wineries in Alexander, Dry Creek, and Russian River Valleys will be participating. Just minutes from our Healdsburg hotel you can visit Simi Winery, Manzanita Creek Winery, and West Wines to sample tastes from their barrels.

This is your chance to purchase your favorite vintages at a discount from many of the region's best vineyards. Several wineries will be offering "futures" on their barrel samples. You can buy what you like now, and come back in about 12 to 18 months when the wine is ready for the general public. Get a jump on building up your wine cellar and come ready to stock up your collection. Many of these wines are hard to find, and this might be your only chance to purchase them.

This barrel tasting event in Sonoma does not include food pairings and many of the wineries will not offer anything to eat. However, attendees are encouraged to pack a picnic lunch. The event is only open to those 21 and over and advance tickets are on sale now until February 29. Tickets include barrel samples as well as a limited number of tastings from current releases.
