Grab your swimsuit and hit the beach on July 15th in Healdsburg! The 2017 Healdsburg Water Carnival offers an unforgettable summer experience just a short ride from our hotel. Spend the afternoon listening to live music, sampling food from local vendors, and sipping the famous wines of Dry Creek Valley at Veterans Memorial Beach. There's even a rubber ducky race and games for the kids. It's the perfect summer day in Sonoma County!
While you listen to live R&B and soul bands, you can take a dip in the refreshing water or just head for the beer garden to sip a microbrew. There are also kayak and pedal boat tours available. When you get hungry, you can peruse the great selection of food trucks for ice cream, hot dogs, and slush. The Great American rubber ducky race attracts contestants from across Healdsburg to win great prizes. The $10 admission to the event includes a relaxing ride on "Sandy the Swan", face painting for the kids, and water activities for all ages.
The 2017 Healdsburg Water Carnival takes place at the Healdsburg Veterans Memorial Beach. From our wine country retreat, you can drive to the event in less than 10 minutes. The carnival kicks off at 11 am, so you can enjoy a complimentary continental breakfast beforehand at our boutique hotel.
