It’s an adequate Best Western at Sonoma prices. If I’d paid $100/night I’d give it 4 stars. But for over $300? I get it. They can charge that much in that area. (FYI, I could have saved $100/night if I hadn’t booked ahead. )The sound proofing is lacking. All the doors are exterior. The cleaning product smell gave me a headache. The beds had a weird metallic squeak and the fridge made a very non-fridge thunk sound. It’s one of those noisy a/c units on a wall thermostat, but the fan only setting made a really weird sound so it was either turn it off or have a/c cycling on and off all night. The bathroom counter is a good size, but it was hard to avoid getting water all over the place when you washed your face. There is no breakfast but at least a mini-Keurig in the room. That said, the staff was friendly. The beds were reasonably comfortable. We walked to Healdsburg plaza one night and it was about 20 minutes. The pool was small but decent.
